U11 Football TIC
The 6th of October marked the second round of matches of the Junior League Football 2018. ACS’ U11 Tigers (blue and yellow teams) took on Global Mandiri, Insan Cendikia and Victory Plus in an enthralling game of football. Fresh from their win last week, our blue team was ready to defend their position. Meanwhile, the yellow team was looking forward to their first two games of the season.
The ACS Jakarta Blue vs Global Mandiri game started rapidly well for our Tigers, scoring an early goal by Rifqi in the early stages of the first half. In the second half, ACS Jakarta Blue maintained their rhythm and they put two more away with ease, with great finishes from Haydn and Jerry. The game ended with ACS Jakarta Blue winning 3-0 after a great performance from our team, although Global Mandiri defended well, too.
At the other side of the field, our yellow team had two games in a row. As the team headed out for the warm-up, one could feel the concentration and readiness, which paved for what was to be thrilling games. In both matches against Insan Cendikia and Victory Plus, our yellow team emerged as winners with the scores 1-0 and 2-0 respectively.
All the boys played fantastically well as their parents, family members and friends came to cheer them on. Everyone is looking forward to their next fixtures!
