TIC JAAC Jr Boys Football
On Saturday, 10 March, ACS hosted the finals of the 2018 JAAC Junior Football competition, and saw our boys and girls run away with the championship once more. The JAAC Junior Football competition is aimed at players under 15 years of age, and our team comprised boys and girls from grades 7, 8, and 9. Defending the championship won in 2017, we were victorious in all of our group games and our semi-final to reach the final against SPH Kemang Village. After battling with tired legs in a first half stalemate, energies were renewed and the team romped home with a 3-0 victory in the second half.
All of the ACS boys and girls showed commitment, spirit, and a determination to win. Everybody had a part to play, with goals and assists coming from all over the pitch.Only one person can win the MVP award though, and that honour was granted to Captain Will Winarno (9 Teamwork) for all his leadership in midfield, along with his goals. Now the Grade 7 and 8 players look forward to the remainder of the JSFL season, and the team as a whole looks forward to further success in the 2018-2019 season.
