TIC Senior Boys’ Varsity Basketball
Between November 25, 2017 and March 3, 2018, the ACS Jakarta Boys’ senior varsity basketball team played total of 14 games in the JAAC Senior Boys’ Basketball tournament winning 12 and losing
2. The team that consisted of five senior players, and a few selected from the junior category, went unbeaten for seven games before losing to Universitas Pelita Harapan by 10 points. While the Tigers lost to UPH, one of the top teams of the JAAC tournament, they can boast of a 4-point victory against SPH Karawaci, the defending champions. The victory was the highpoint of the season because it was a marquee match-up which went down to the wire. Unfortunately, SPH Karawaci managed to get their revenge during the playoff in the semi-finals. Nevertheless, the Tigers beat Global Jaya by 20 points to claim the third-place spot.
The third-place spot is a milestone since this was the first time the Senior Tigers played a full season. The end of season form stands as follows:

The players demonstrated notable determination, persistence and a positive team spirit throughout the season. With more junior players graduating to the senior team, the boys have pledged to put in even more work and training this offseason and have set the ambitious target of becoming champions in the 2018-2019 season. It would be remiss, on the part of the tigers, not to send appreciation to the school management and the PE department for letting them experience the competitive tournament to the end.
