Subject Offerings

In the Diploma Programme, the curriculum consists of six subject groups. It is important to know which course selections will help students achieve their goals and career aspirations. 

SL and HL courses differ in scope but are measured according to the same grade descriptors, with students expected to demonstrate a greater body of knowledge, understanding and skills at higher level.

Grading System

A student’s examination performance in individual subjects is scored on a scale of 1-7 points. Student results are determined by performance against set standards, not by each students’ position in the overall rank order. Subjects are marked according to the following scale.

7 = Excellent

6 = Very Good

5 = Good

4 = Satisfactory

3 = Mediocre

2 = Poor

1 = Very Poor
