The Grade 3 students took a trip to Cimory Riverside at Cisarua, Bogor, on 23rd October. Cimory Riverside offered us packed activities that enhanced our students insights on nature. The students explored the site where they saw a stream and different terrain.

As there was scattered showers from the sky, students were excited to wear their raincoats and walk through the field to see the cows. Although the smell of the cowshed was revolting, the students were not discouraged to queue and milk the cows. It was an atypical place for our students to learn, but they listened well to the information relating to the process of hand-milking.

After everyone got a chance to milk and pet the cows, the Cimory staff guided us to visit other animals that lived there. We saw deers, wallabies, and many types of birds and fish. This experience triggered their curiosity, hence, they were eager to ask questions about the nature and nurture of these animals.

During this trip, we also learned about how Cimory Riverside has established and the production of their goods. Through videos, the students found out about the making of the famous Cimory milk and yoghurt, including their latest venture in chocolaterie. We tried out samples of the Chocomory when we passed by their shop. Yummy! Our trip was definitely delicious since we closed our learning journey with a chocolate milkshake that we learned to make together. All the ingredients were fresh produce from Cimory.

The students had the best time, discovered new things and gained unique experiences. We truly enjoyed our hands-on learning journey to Cimory.
